Rated 5.0 ★★★★★ by 9 happy members

In Piano Keys Course, your child will learn how to play the keyboard and at the same time will develop a rich vase of important musical skills. Music is a written language, so theory & reading activities are done from the very first lesson in an age-appropriate fun way.

Practice is an essential part of learning & the online practice buddy via the website is a fantastic tool to promote practice at home. Reward based practice incentives give students a goal to work towards every term.

Students can opt to sit for Foundation Exams during the course which consolidates learning & offers a positive exam experience.

“If children hear fine music and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline, and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.”

“So happy we made the switch to Forte music classes. We have been make to feel welcome from day one. In not even 2 terms, my daughter has gained so much confidence. There would hav been no way she would sing without the artist in the background, let alone in front of people. Jordan (Age 8) always leaves with a smile on her face after a full class of great participation!

Hi I’m Caelyn, Your Music Teacher

Why I Teach Piano Differently

I started piano lessons at age 5 and fell in love with music early on. By 12, I was accompanying hymns at church—though not very well yet! A friend and I would each play one hand, and that’s how I first discovered the joy of playing with others. That same year, I got to accompany my homeschool choir, and I was hooked. Music became a way to connect, create, and build friendships.

As a social kid and a homeschooler, piano ensembles and group performances were life-changing. Music became more than just practice—it was a shared experience.

At 16, my family moved to Wisconsin for my dad’s job, but I was fortunate to plug right back into an amazing music prep program. I joined band, choir, and more ensemble work, which fueled my passion even further.

Eventually, I earned my degree in piano pedagogy and composition, and in 2024, I opened my own studio. I quickly grew to 50+ private students but noticed many kids were dropping out—not because they didn’t enjoy music, but because they wanted something more social. That’s when I began training in group piano teaching and discovered how powerful collaborative learning could be. Since then, I’ve seen students stay engaged longer (reducing screen time), grow in confidence, and become more enthusiastic about music when they get to learn and play alongside their peers.

Now, I offer Forte Piano for ages 5+ and Forte Early Childhood (Ages 6months-4years): a dynamic group piano experience that builds well-rounded musicianship, nurtures confidence, and supports the social and emotional growth kids need—especially in today’s post-Covid world.
